A Culinary Journey to the 1893 Chicago World's Fair
The year is 1893, and travelers from across America are making their way by rail to Chicago for one of the most spectacular events of the century — the World’s Columbian Exposition.
Painted Prairie invites you to imagine making that journey from the prairies of Murray County to Chicago through a multi-course dining experience inspired by the remarkable culinary history of America’s railways.
Each course features dishes inspired by authentic historic railway recipes, thoughtfully paired with Painted Prairie wines. With every plate, discover a taste of the past and the traditions that made dining aboard America’s railways an experience all its own.
An evening inspired by the journey from Murray County to the 1893 Chicago World's Fair — and an opportunity to taste history.
