At our vineyard, food is meant to be shared — just like great stories and exceptional wine. Our menu is thoughtfully crafted with abundant, seasonal plates designed for the center of the table. From artisan cheeses and rustic flatbreads to vibrant garden dishes and savory small bites, each offering invites guests to pass, pour, and savor together.
Inspired by the rhythm of the vines and the flavors of the harvest, our shareable selections pair beautifully with every glass, encouraging connection, conversation, and a little lingering. Because the best moments — like the best wines — are meant to be shared.

What is Flights and Bites? Simply, it's a fun way for us (Painted Prairie) to introduce wine to you paired with fabulous food themes in an intimate setting! In the past we have done chocolate; Irish; sliders; Asian-themed; and more. Honestly, when Chef Matt has an idea, we get creative and bring out the wine!
This year, we have selected three themes for Flights and Bites for 2026. Get ready and mark your calendars for bites of delicious food and Painted Prairie wine pairings!
April 19th- we are having fun with a Church Basement Potluck. Yes, think hotdishes, Jello salad, desserts...paired with wine! I (Krista) couldn't be more excited for this experience as it brings back memories of going to a Country Church and participating in many church basement gatherings!
July 12th- we are playing with ice cream and wine! In July...this going to be refreshing and awesome!
October 11th- we are going to pair common Chinese Takeout dishes with our wine!
Each event requires registration. It costs $25 per person and must be 21 and older to partake in the pairing. Cheers!

The official stock up forecast has been released and we plan to be open from 2-6 pm today to restock your wine racks or enjoy some Painted Prairie time before the big storm. Yes, the timing looks a little later than what was predicted yesterday but want our staff to get home well before the Blizzard Warning starts. We will be closed on Sunday. Cheers! 🍷

Well, if you haven't heard, it's supposed to snow this weekend 😉 With the forecast, we are going to make some adjustments to our Saturday hours and then we will worry about Sunday when Sunday comes!
Today, Friday, will be normal hours (5-9 p.m.) for our Fish Fry!
Saturday, the Sip and Paint is still on---starting at 1 p.m. There are a couple spots left, so grab them if you are interested.
We plan to have hours, at this point, from 2-6 p.m. on Saturday. The Prime Rib evening will be postponed to another night in March. Stay tuned for more details.
