Wood Fire Pizza at Off-Site Events
Make your live event simply unforgettable with Painted Prairie’s Woodfire mobile pizza truck in Southwest Minnesota. Our portfolio accommodates large and medium-sized groups in formal or informal settings with our delicious artisan pizzas. Pizzas are created and cooked onsite in our mobile woodfired oven. Additional sides and drinks can be added to build a custom menu that is perfect for your event.
All events have a $650 minimum sale.
EVENT FAQ’S
What is your setup like? We bring our unique wood fired oven, tent, and food truck to your event location two hours before food service to set up and heat the oven. The oven, prep and service area takes up 10 x 20 feet. If you would like our oven and open style kitchen to be the center of attention, our trailer requires a 10′-12′ opening to be pulled into a backyard. If there is not access to the serving area we can setup our oven and kitchen in another location onsite. If you have any concerns about the space requirements, please feel free to email a picture of your location. We are happy to make a site visit and discuss options.
How long will you serve? Our service time is approximately two hours, once the guest list count is around 100, an additional hour of service is usually needed for $75.00 per hour.
What happens if it is bad weather? Inclement weather: Having “Plan B” for our set up is important, for severe weather we will need to have access to a secure, safe building to set up our tables and prep cart. We can serve in light rain.
Is Painted Prairie’s Woodfire OK for a formal event? Artisan woodfire pizza is right for any event! Painted Prairie will work with you to customize a menu and serving style to compliment your occasion. Contact us to discuss how we can help your event take flight.
What is the radius you are willing to drive for an event? At this time, Painted Prairie has designated a 1 ½ hour radius from their location to travel for an event. Please note, the standard IRS mileage will be charged for travel to and from your event back to Painted Prairie.
Are there additional charges you can expect on your final bill? Within 24 hours completion of your event, you will receive your final bill via invoice. On this invoice, you will see your event itemized with a total. An 18% service charge will be added to your final bill. This is standard to off-set cost of service for the event. In addition, a 20% gratuity is added on the final bill.
How do I book an event with Painted Prairie’s mobile unit? Once you have established Painted Prairie is a good fit for your event, reach out to Painted Prairie at (507) 626-5203. A staff person will respond to your inquiry within 48-72 hours, depending on availability. Once you have agreed upon a date/time, there will be a $100 non-refundable deposit required to secure your spot. Once the event takes place, this deposit will be applied to your final bill.
