Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, planning a bachelorette party, marking a milestone, or simply looking for a reason to get together, enjoy a special experience on the prairie without the planning of a larger event.

Grab your best gal pals for an unforgettable evening on the prairie! Sip wine and savor delicious food while laughing until the stars come out. Designed for elegance, your boho table will offer everything you need for a magical night at Painted Prairie.
Chic Picnics get the royal treatment and will delight you with swag and surprises.
Sunset Picnics
Baskets are enough food & wine for 2 people | Available May-October
Create a magical evening on the prairie! Enjoy an unforgettable meal with a basket of food and wine as the sun sets over Painted Prairie! Choose your favorite spot at the estate to catch up with a friend or enjoy a date night, then cozy up at the fire pit with s’mores.
Groups can order multiple baskets to reach their total.
Additional food can be ordered off the menu to add to your basket.

Painted Prairie Pavilion
Main Tasting Room | Up to 75 Guests
Elevate your celebration with the Painted Prairie Pavilion experience. A mix of sophistication and prairie living, this space incorporates historic beams, real wine barrel staves, and weathered barnwood mixed with concrete and metal to create a relaxed and elegant event. A walk outside, your guests will take in the sweeping views of our majestic vineyards.
Pavilion West Patio
Up to 30 Guests
Immerse yourself in this magical oasis. Watch the sun go down, and the stars come out with our spacious outdoor experience. Fireside seating underneath a string of lights creates an intimate ambiance for your group to take in the views of the vineyard and rolling hills of the prairie.
Red Barn
Up to 50 Guests indoors | Up to 100 Total
Nestled between two picturesque silos, our beautiful Red Barn once housed the original tasting room. Its transformation into a beautiful farm-style space with original wood beams and unique rustic and vintage decor creates an intimate gathering space, with a perfect mix of old and new.

It’s All In the Details
Food & Beverage
Painted Prairie manages all food and beverage service for private experiences, with specific catering arrangements depending on event size and venue.
- Food must be purchased through Painted Prairie, subject to the applicable event-size and catering policies.
- Desserts may be brought in.
- All alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages must be purchased through Painted Prairie.
- A six-bottle wine purchase minimum applies to private events.
- Bar arrangements may include an open bar, individual purchases, or beverages purchased by the host.
- Painted Prairie does not host dry events.
- An 18% service charge applies to labor performed on the day of the event.
Decorating & Set Up
Painted Prairie offers a limited selection of decorations for use in the Pavilion and Red Barn. Guests should inquire about available items and obtain approval for all decorating plans before the event.
White tablecloths are available for guest tables, while black tablecloths are provided for buffet tables. Guests using an outside vendor are responsible for placing their own table linens. Linen napkins are not provided.
For safety, wax candles may not be lit in the Pavilion or Red Barn.
