Tucked away in the southwest corner of Minnesota, a peaceful vineyard rests among rolling prairie, overlooking a shimmering lake.
Our glamping experience is a slow, wine-country stay set in the heart of the prairie.
Start your mornings with coffee overlooking the vineyard. Spend your days wandering between vines, wildflowers, and open sky, or exploring the beauty of southwest Minnesota. In the afternoon, gather in the Red Barn for games or head to the tasting room for a glass of wine, wood-fired pizza, or live music. End the evening around the firepit, sharing food, conversation, and a bottle of wine as the sun sets over the prairie.

We had the most incredible glamping experience! From the moment we arrived, everything felt so thoughtfully curated and unique. We loved the fresh flowers that greeted us inside the tent. The coffee was absolutely delicious, the scenery was breathtaking, and evenings filled with live music and wine made it all unforgettable.

PRIVATE CHEF EXPERIENCE
Exclusive to glampers, Painted Prairie offers a private dining experience on the Red Barn patio, featuring a curated three-course meal crafted with locally sourced, seasonal ingredients.
Couples will coordinate with Chef Matt prior to arrival to finalize their menu, timing, and pricing. Includes a Painted Prairie wine pairing.

VINEYARD TOUR
Three grape varieties are grown onsite at Painted Prairie Vineyard and Estate. Explore the vines of Marquette, LaCrescent, and Frontenac Grapes.

Indulge in a wine-and-chocolate or wine-and-cheese pairing, thoughtfully prepared and enjoyed at your glamping site.

Evenings are perfect for gathering around the firepit, shared meals and wine from the tasting room, or enjoying live music or weekly events. Sip, savor, and connect at Painted Prairie’s tasting room with a full food and drink menu. The tasting room includes a shop and an outdoor patio.

S’mores fixings are available for the firepit – just talk to staff in the tasting room or at your check-in time.

Explore the wildflower gardens at Painted Prairie with 20+ varieties. Peak blooming season is July to September with the sunflowers blooming in August and September.
